University of Cyberjaya’s School of Nursing envisions to prepare qualified nurses who are Competent, Confident, Compassionate, and Caring, ready to enter the job market to meet the needs of individuals and communities in health care and home care settings.
The School is committed to providing a high-quality conducive learning environment which promotes clinical training with the integration of innovative and critical thinking skills at each phase of the student's education. Classroom teaching follows relevant industry standards of nursing skills in well-equipped mock wards and clinical practice attachment at approved government hospitals to meet the requirements of the Nursing Board of Malaysia.

About the Head
Dr Manjit Kaur Khaira
Dr Manjit Kaur Khaira is an experienced nursing academic and healthcare professional with over four decades of experience spanning clinical nursing, healthcare administration and nursing education. She currently serves as the Head of the School of Nursing, Faculty of Health, University of Cyberjaya, having previously served as Senior Lecturer and Programme Coordinator for the Bachelor of Nursing programme.
She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Community Health) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, a Master of Science in Nursing from Northumbria University, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Nursing from the University of Sunderland, United Kingdom. Her extensive professional background combines clinical practice with academic leadership, curriculum development, programme coordination and student development.
Her academic and research interests include nursing education, community health, student well-being and innovative approaches to teaching and learning. Her research has included work on test anxiety among nursing students, including intervention strategies to reduce test anxiety, with publications in international peer-reviewed journals. Dr Manjit is also actively involved in professional and scholarly engagement through keynote addresses, seminars and international nursing conferences. Her work reflects a strong commitment to strengthening nursing education, bridging the gap between theory and clinical practice, and preparing competent, compassionate and future-ready nursing professionals.
