Dr. Ashok holds qualifications including B. Pharm, M. Pharm, a PhD in Pharmacy, and an MBA in Human Resources Management. His expertise extends to the realm of Biomedical Sciences, further bolstered by a post-doctorate from Charles Sturt University, Australia.
Dr. Ashok has earned prestigious research fellowships, including scholarships for postgraduate studies awarded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development and the University Grants Commission (UGC) in India. His international recognition includes the Australian Endeavor Research Award from the Ministry of Tertiary Education in Australia and India-ASEAN collaboration research grants, showcasing his dedication to fostering global research collaborations.

Intensive research projects are carried out in strategic research clusters that have been identified as high-impact priority areas for the University of Cyberjaya.
Pharmacological Sciences
This area of research involves examining the interactions of chemical substances with living systems, with a view to understanding the properties of drugs, including the interactions between drug molecules and drug receptors.
Disaster and Emergency Medicine
This concerns more than just the provision of health care to disaster survivors and providing medically related disaster preparation, disaster planning, disaster response and disaster recovery leadership throughout the disaster life cycle.
Behavioural Sciences
