The Grand Hall of the University of Cyberjaya was recently filled with the electric energy of creativity and resilience as it hosted Metamorfosis | FIART Got Talent Showcase 2026. This landmark event served as the final project for the FSEU1011 Self-Development course, providing Foundation in Arts (FIART) students with a platform to demonstrate their journey of growth through experiential learning.

Inspired by the theme of "Metamorfosis," the showcase mirrored the journey of a caterpillar’s transformation into a butterfly, highlighting the students' evolution into confident and expressive individuals.

Visionary Leadership and Opening Remarks

The afternoon commenced with warm welcome remarks by Assoc. Prof. Eric Tang Cher Hing, Director of the Centre for Foundation, Languages & General Studies (CFLGS). He emphasised the importance of self-development and the collaborative spirit that defined this year’s showcase.

Following this, Prof. Dr. Azrin Esmady Ariffin, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), delivered an inspiring opening speech. He lauded the integration of real-world skills such as communication, teamwork, and self-awareness into the academic curriculum, reinforcing the University's commitment to holistic education.

A Day of Talent and Expert Adjudication

Eleven performing groups took to the stage, delivering dynamic performances that ranged from cultural expressions to modern artistic collaborations. The difficult task of evaluating these performances fell to our esteemed panel of judges:
