Findings from the Ministry of Higher Education affirm the University’s commitment to producing industry-ready graduates
University of Cyberjaya (UoC) has achieved a Graduate Employability (GE) rate of 95.2% and a Graduate Marketability (GM) rate of 95.1% in the Ministry of Higher Education’s (MOHE) Graduate Tracer Study 2025, reinforcing the institution’s standing as a consistent producer of workforce-ready talent.

The GE rate, drawn from a cohort of 599 graduates, measures the proportion who secured employment within a defined period after graduation. The GM rate – covering a broader cohort of 1,011 graduates that encompasses those in the workforce, as well as those pursuing further study or training – reflects graduate competitiveness against current employer expectations. Achieving above 95% on both measures places UoC among strong performers within the national higher education landscape.
Among Malaysian citizen graduates specifically, UoC recorded a GE rate of 94.9% and a GM rate of 94.4%, reflecting consistent outcomes across both the overall and domestic graduate populations.
The results reflect UoC’s sustained efforts in keeping its programmes current through ongoing curriculum reviews, structured industry collaborations and applied learning – spanning its core disciplines of healthcare and allied sciences, business, psychology, information technology, and creative arts and design.
Professor Dr. David Whitford, Vice Chancellor of University of Cyberjaya, said the findings validate the institution’s academic direction: “These results reflect our commitment to delivering quality, industry-relevant education that equips graduates with the skills and competencies needed in today’s workforce.”
“They would not have been possible without the dedication of our academic and professional staff, the resilience of our students, and the strong support of our industry partners. We remain focused on enhancing our programmes, strengthening research and expanding industry engagement to ensure our graduates stay competitive,” he added.
UoC has progressively built its industry ecosystem through partnerships that provide students with structured workplace exposure prior to graduation, a key factor in sustaining strong employability outcomes across successive cohorts.
Founded in 2005, UoC is a private university recognised for its emphasis on healthcare and allied sciences, alongside a broad range of programmes designed to meet national and regional workforce needs.
