Nur Dhabitah Sabri, of the CUCMS Faculty of Occupational Safety & Health made the university and the rest of the nation proud when she won the Bronze medal in the Women's 3m Springboard Synchro and the Women’s 10m Platform Synchro with her partner Leong Mun-Yee at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
The 18-year lass who hails FROM Kuala Lumpur is the youngest among four siblings. She started her aquatic exposure thru swimming clubs. After several competition, her father decided to switch her into diving. Nur Dhabitah had represented Malaysia in various international events including the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and the 2016 Olympics Games in Rio de Janeiro. She is also a Gold medallist at the 2017 SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur.
When interviewed by the press after her first medal, she said "I never expected a medal in this event. It wasn't a target for us because Canada and Australia are strong. In the Diving World Series, they were the ones always on the podium. Yet somehow we finished with a medal despite our last dive so I'm quite thankful for that."

Nur Dhabitah Sabri is enrolled in the CUCMS Diploma in Safety & Health programme and is currently on leave to join the Malaysian contingent at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
