University of Cyberjaya thrive at the National Allied Health Sciences Students' Sport Event (NASHSSE) 2024

Students from University of Cyberjaya (UoC) participated in the National Allied Health Sciences Students' Sport Event (NAHSSE) in 2024, held at Sultan Zainal Abidin University. This annual sporting event brings together students from the Faculty of Health Sciences of all universities in Malaysia.

UoC's team demonstrated outstanding athleticism and sportsmanship during NAHSSE 2024, earning the 3rd champion rank. They won 9 medals, including 2 gold, 3 silver, and 4 bronze, across various events like Volleyball, Badminton, Basketball, and esports games such as Mobile Legends and PUBG. The event not only saw our students winning medals and receiving accolades but also a truly transformative experience for them. The participants demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship and grit, exhibiting the university's unwavering commitment to nurturing well-rounded and holistic individuals.

One participant said, "Engaging in these activities taught us perseverance and determination, whether we were pushing ourselves to our limits or overcoming obstacles."

NAHSSE 2024 provided a unique opportunity for UoC students to interact with peers from different universities, creating a rich tapestry of cultural exchange. Beyond the competitive arena, students shared experiences, broadening their perspectives and enriching their understanding of diversity. The practical experience provided a solid foundation for the students of UoC, equipping them with the necessary skills to take on challenging extracurricular activities in the future.
