University of Cyberjaya Hosts Public Awareness Programme on Medical Devices 2025

The University of Cyberjaya (UoC) was honoured to host the Public Awareness Programme on Medical Devices 2025, organised by the Medical Device Authority (MDA), Ministry of Health Malaysia.

The event was officiated by YB Dato Lukanisman bin Awang Sauni, Deputy Minister of Health Malaysia, and graced by Dr. Muralitharan Paramasua, Chief Executive of MDA. It served as a vital platform to enhance public understanding of the importance of using safe and registered medical devices.

The day’s activities featured a variety of engaging sessions, including the Medical Device Public Speaking Competition, insightful talks by industry experts, informative exhibitions, and free health screenings. These activities encouraged active participation and meaningful dialogue among students, healthcare professionals, and members of the public.

Through this collaboration, UoC proudly supports initiatives that promote health literacy, regulatory awareness, and community well-being.
