From 8th to 10th November 2024, 11 enthusiastic Psychology students from the University of Cyberjaya participated in a meaningful community engagement initiative at SJK(C) Sin Ming. The event, a 3-day, 2-night camping programme, titled “Forever Young at Heart: Cherished Memories with Sin Ming”, was organised for 150 graduating Standard 6 students. The initiative was led by the esteemed Associate Professor Dr. Crendy Tan Yen Teng.

This camp aimed to:

1.            Build students' confidence and self-discipline.
2.            Cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
3.            Train students in team spirit and collaborative abilities.
4.            Enhance physical fitness and flexibility.

The camp provided a platform for students to develop essential life skills through various activities, fostering a sense of self-growth, camaraderie, and resilience. The participants engaged in team-building exercises, leadership tasks, and fitness challenges designed to prepare them for their future academic and personal journeys.

Under the guidance of the University of Cyberjaya team, the camp successfully achieved its objectives, leaving a lasting impression on the young participants and strengthening the university’s commitment to community engagement and holistic education.
