Cyberjaya, 9th November 2021 – The University of Cyberjaya recently pledged to join the Race to Zero campaign, a global initiative for a zero-carbon world. This campaign rallies leadership and support from businesses, cities, regions and investors for a healthy, resilient, zero carbon recovery that prevents future threats, creates decent jobs, and unlocks inclusive, sustainable growth.
The campaign runs in partnership with the Environmental Associate for Universities and Colleges (EAUC), Second Nature, and the United Nations Environment. The EAUC are the secretariat.
The University of Cyberjaya is proud to be one of only 2 representatives from Malaysia to join the campaign alongside Universiti Sains Malaysia.
With this pledge, the University of Cyberjaya will have 12 months to plan out actions that will be taken toward achieving both interim and longer-term pledges.
