The University is happy to announce the commencement of the CUCMS Distinguished Lecture Series at Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences. The CUCMS Distinguished Lecture Series features influential speakers from the academia, public sphere and industries who share their unique perspectives on critical topics of interest. The series aim to broaden the educational experience of the university community as well as members of the industry while providing a platform for the healthy exchange of ideas.
The inaugural Lecture to be held on 18th February 2016 will feature YBhg Tan Sri Dr. Mohd Irwan Serigar Abdullah, Secretary General of the Treasury, Malaysia. YBhg Tan Sri will be speaking on the topic of “Contribution of the Healthcare Sector towards Building a Resilient Economy”. The lecture will highlight the state of the Malaysian economy in general, the contribution of and the impact on the healthcare sub-sector, and related government initiatives. Discussions will include the aspects of job opportunities and industry growth.
