Course Description

The Diploma of Medical & Health Science programme at UoC is a three years course (6 semesters) that provides students with a wealth of knowledge in patient care allowing them to seek a career as Assistant Medical Officers in public hospitals.

Students are taught by experienced Assistant Medical Officer (AMO) lecturers, lecturers and clinical instructors employed by UoC.

    • Physics with a pass in Biology; OR

  • 2 (two) other subjects

AND pass in English

Pass with Grade C (GPA 2.00) in one subject, AND minimum of 3 credits in the following
subjects:

  • Science Subjects:
    • Biology or
      Chemistry; OR
      Physics with a pass
      in Biology; OR

  • Mathematics or Additional Mathematics

Certificate

Pass with minimum Grade B in 3 subjects:

  • Science subjects:
    • Biology or

Pass with minimum 5 credits in the following subjects:
