Homeopathy is one of the regulated practice areas of the holistic system of medicine by Traditional & Complementary (T&CM) Division, Ministry of Health, Malaysia.
The Bachelor of Homeopathic Medical Science (Hons) programme at UoC is a five-year course (10 semesters with 162 credits) that equips students in becoming credible, competent, and knowledgeable homeopaths.

The prevalence of non-communicable, mental health and lifestyle diseases is increasing, causing economic burden. Homeopathy provides a holistic, patient centred, personalised and cost-effective treatment approach that treats not just symptoms but improves patient’s immunity, general well-being, and quality of life without side effects. Remedies are safe, non-toxic, and eco-friendly. Homeopathy can also be used for pets and reduce the use of antibiotics in livestock. Recent developments in the use of homeopathy in agriculture has created sustainable practices world-wide.
Pass with CGPA 2.50 and above
A pass in STPM with at least CGPA of 2.50
Pass with CGPA 2.50 with credits in 2 science subjects and Mathematics in SPM
Pass with minimum C in 2 Science subjects and Mathematics
Pass with a minimum Jayyid grade, and pass Mathematics and English at SPM level or its equivalent
Pass with minimum grade B in 5 subjects including 2 Science subjects
Pass with minimum CGPA 2.50 with credits in 2 Science subjects and Mathematics at SPM level
Pass with minimum 60% points including 2 Science subjects or credits in 2 Science subjects in SPM/O-Level or equivalent
Diploma in Traditional Complementary Medicine/other related diploma:
Minimum MUET (Band 3) / IELTS 5.0 / TOEFL iBT 40 / equivalent to CEFR High B1
