UoC's Dietetics programme offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to provide graduates with knowledge and experience in areas such as medical nutrition therapy, basic medical sciences, nutrition and food science, as well as equipping the students with clinical and research skills.

Course Description

The Bachelor of Dietetics is a four-year programme that encompasses a wide range of knowledge necessary for the practice of dietetics. This programme provides students with a comprehensive understanding of diet and nutrition, specifically focusing on medical nutrition therapy (MNT).

The Experience

Who is teaching?

Experienced lecturers will deliver lectures, tutorials and practicals, while clinical instructors will guide students during clinical placements.

Off Campus Learning

Students will undergo clincal, food service and community training at selected private or public hospitals, health clinics and centres to learn real world scenarios that would in turn make them competent dieticians.
