Course Structure
Course Description
The Bachelor of Cosmetics (Hons) programme at the University of Cyberjaya (UoC) is a three-year course (eight semesters) designed to prepare students to become competent professionals in the cosmetic and personal care industry. The programme provides comprehensive knowledge in cosmetic science, product formulation, product safety, regulatory compliance, and quality management.
Students develop strong scientific foundations and practical laboratory skills required for the development, evaluation, and manufacturing of cosmetic and cosmeceutical products. Through integrated laboratory training, industry exposure, and research experience, graduates are well prepared to contribute effectively to the growing cosmetic, Halal beauty, and personal care industries, both locally and internationally.
Course Training and Practical
Designated cosmetic manufacturing companies, research and development (R&D) laboratories, and quality testing facilities are utilised for the training and industrial attachment of Bachelor of Cosmetics students at the University of Cyberjaya (UoC). In addition, students are placed in selected cosmetic manufacturing industries, Halal-certified cosmetic companies, regulatory-related organisations, and relevant beauty and personal care establishments throughout their study period at UoC to enhance practical exposure, hands-on industry experience, and graduate industry readiness.
