Course Structure

Course Description

The Bachelor of Art (Hons) in Graphic Design (Advertising) is a 3-year programme that trains students to use visuals to communicate messages effectively. Among many others, it covers topics such as logos, layouts, and design principles. The course teaches students to create designs that look good and convey ideas well. Students also learn to adapt their work to the digital world. Students are graded based on assignments (30%), projects and presentations (30%), and a final project portfolio (40%).

A Certificate in Matriculation or Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or its equivalent.

Diploma
Diploma Level

A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or its equivalent.

DKM/DKLM/DVM
Diploma Level

A pass in Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) in suitable fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subjected to University's approval.

Diploma Level

A pass in DKM/DLKM /DVM with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 with at least 2 years working experience in a related discipline.
