The Bachelor in Information Technology (Hons) programme at UoC is a three-year course that is designed to produce graduates who will satisfy the needs of employers as well as self-employment in the 21st century with the right technical and fundamental knowledge for a computing career in an increasingly dynamic business and technology-oriented world.
Students are taught by experienced lecturers and researchers employed by UoC.

Information technology have come a long way since it first appeared in the annals of history in the late 50s. Today, it is the single most important thing in ensuring that businesses, communities, economies, and the society at large can function. Knowledge in IT allows graduates to diversify into any number of careers and fields, giving them the flexibility to adapt and respond to the rapid advancement in technology today. UoC provides its students high quality facilities and infrastructure needed to learn the field, while leveraging on the experience of its teaching staff who prepare students to compete and succeed.
Pass with minimum grade C in any 2 subjects; and credit in Mathematics at SPM or equivalent
Pass with minimum grade D in any 2 subjects and a credit in Mathematics in SPM or equivalent
Completion of Foundation Programme in relevant field with CGPA 2.0 and credit in Mathematics in SPM or equivalent
A Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent with a minumum CGPA of 2.5. Candidates with CGPA below 2.5 but above 2.0 may be admitted subject to internal assessment process;
OR
any other Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment process and a credit in Mathematics at
SPM level or its equivalent
Pass with Grade B in any 5 subjects including Mathematics
International students are required to achieve a minimum score of 5.0 for IELTS OR its equivalent.
