University Library
The University of Cyberjaya’s Library & Knowledge Management Centre (UoC Library) was established in 2006 and specializes in the areas of General and Specialized Medicine, Pharmacy, Traditional and Complementary Medicine, Allied Health Sciences and Business. To date, University of Cyberjaya’s Library holds a total collection more than 18,000 physical collection. In addition to printed collection, the University of Cyberjaya’s Library and Knowledge Management Centre also maintains a large collection of electronic journals and databases accessible via the Internet. User of University of Cyberjaya would have the best both worlds when it comes to library and information resources support.
Besides operating at the main campus in Cyberjaya, there are three (3) other Resource Centres located at Sepang, Melaka and Seri Manjung, Perak.
The University of Cyberjaya’s Library and Knowledge Management Centre is using VIRTUA LMS, an integrated library management system provided by VTLS. It is a web-based library system which records all titles in the library. Library holdings can be accessed through the WebOPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) via (bestari.cybermed.edu.my), or from the University website at (https://cyberjaya.edu.my/library/).

Lost & Damage Item
If an item borrowed by a patron is accidentally lost or damaged, the person will be charged for its replacement cost which consists of the: |

If an inter-library loan material from another library is lost/damaged, the patron will be billed by the lending library according to that library’s policies. Patrons should report lost materials immediately, so that their library privileges are not suspended. |
Renewal Service
We recommend user not to wait until the last minute before trying to renew an item in case it can’t be renewed for any reason. User is responsible for any late fees if an item cannot be renewed and is returned late.
How to renew item?

- Click on the Checked-out items
- Check the boxes beside the items you would like to renew
- Click at the Renew button

- Search UOC Library page
- Post up Name & Student / Staff ID No. at the University of Cyberjaya Library & Knowledge Management Centre page
- Via E-mail
- Sign in to your e-mail account
- Send e-mail to library@cyberjaya.edu.mywith the item details to be renew
- Via Phone
- You can call the library Circulation Counter at 03-83137187 anytime between library opening hours
Or user can walk-in to the University of Cyberjaya’s Library Circulation Counter and asks the staff to renew your item(s).

- Once you have found the item you want to reserve, click on the “Request” button
Inter-Library Loan (ILL)
This service offered by University of Cyberjaya library and should be used when your needs cannot be met with the University of Cyberjaya library resources. A material received via ILL is by permission of the lending library.

Library Visit & Tour
Discover more about our collections, services and facilities on a visit and tour of library area. The tour includes briefing from library staff about the library overview. Library visit and tour is on the weekdays only from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm. Library visit and tours will take approximately 30 minutes and advance booking are recommended.
Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC)
The University of Cyberjaya Library and Knowledge Management Centre is using VIRTUA LMS; an integrated library management system provided by VTLS. General Rules
The Library is accessible to all staff, students or members officially registered with University of Cyberjaya (UoC). The use of the library however, is governed by its rules and regulations set forth herewith.
The operating hours of the UoC Library is available on the University Library website and in front of the library entrance.
For the Library to carry out its functions effectively, as well as for the benefit of other Library user, the UoC Library requires all user to comply with the following general rules and regulations:
- Display your Student / Staff ID card upon entering the Library.
- You must be decently dressed and should conduct yourself properly in the Library
- All Library users must observe silence in the Library and its environments at all times.
- As seating in the Library is limited, reservation of seat is not permitted. The Library staff may remove books and personal belongings left for any length of time on chairs and table.
- The discussion rooms are to be used strictly for group discussions only.
- The Librarian on duty has the right to request you to leave the premise if you are found to be violating any of its rules.
- An announcement will be made ten minutes prior to closing time and you must vacate the premise punctually.
- The Library will not be held responsible for the loss or misplacement of personal belongings.
- The Librarian is empowered to withhold the Library facilities if there is any infringement of these rules.
- The Management may amend the Library Rules and Regulations as and when necessary.
LIBRARY GENERAL POLICY
General Prohibitions
The following items and actions are prohibited in the Library:
- Smoking, including electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes).
- Consumption of food and drinks (except for plain water in a covered bottle).
- Playing games or any non-academic related activities
- Pets of any kind, living or non-living
- Talking excessively loudly, shouting, or chatting noisily with other user or on mobile phones.
- Any user who causes disturbance in the Library or who refuses to abide by Library rules may be directed by the Librarian or security personnel to leave the Library.
Roving
Roving services is a service where the Librarian moves throughout the Library to locate user who make noise and eat inside the Library. Librarian will do a roving for every floor during peak hours to minimize the noise and also prevent user from eating inside the Library.
