CUCMS SPORTS CARNIVAL 2016
The CUCMS Sports Carnival is an annual event, which gathers the four major sports houses of the university to compete with each other to be the champion. The event aims to promote integration, interaction and to bring CUCMS citizens together through sports. As the proverb says, “From a healthy body, comes a healthy mind,” this event is also targeted to encourage the students and staffs to pursue a healthy lifestyle, to keep fit and also enhance the competition and teamwork spirit among them.
Organised by CUCMS Student Council 16/17 on 17 until 23 October 2016 with various venues such as Cyberpark, Varsity Lodge, and Sports Arena. The organizing committees will be organizing eleven different sporting events, namely:
- Badminton
- Basketball
- Tennis
- Football
- Futsal
- Netball
- Table tennis
- Athletics
- Volleyball
- Tug of War
This year’s event theme will remain as “Bellum Creatura”. Below are the new Warrior names of the respective teams:
- Red symbolizes Dragon
- Green symbolizes Griffin
- Blue symbolizes Pegasus
- Yellow symbolizes Phoenix
The event will be held for a period of one week with a grand finale, featuring the finals for football, athletics & Tug of War.
Details about the CUCMS Sports Carnival
Venue:
Various places around Cyberjaya have been suggested and identified as the venue for the games to be held. There are also games that will be held at our CUCMS campus and the Varsity Lodge, which are:
- Tennis
- Basketball
- Volleyball
The rest of the games will be held at the Cyberpark Community Club, and Sport Arena (Football). The committee had also decided to hold the closing ceremony in Pusat Sukan UPM, Serdang.

Transportation
- Bus is provided to all of the students who are commuting to the sports venue from Mutiara Ville to Sports venue at 5.15PM and return at 10.00PM.
