The university was featured in News Straits Times on 23rd May 2018, highlighting, Nur Asyiqin Masenwat, a final year Bachelor of Pharmacy who was named as the winner for the Social Impact Policy Award and the 1st runner-up for the Education in Pharmacy and Health Sciences category at the National Pharmacy Research Competition (NPRC) held on 23-25 February 2018. It was organised by the Malaysian Pharmacy Students’ Association (MyPSA) with an aim of enhancing the quality of students’ research projects and to provide recognition to innovative research projects.
