Manama, July 9 (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh has today received Malyasian Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences President Professor Dato' Dr. Mohamad Abdul Razak and briefed him about Bahrain’s medical studies and expertise-exchanging programmes.
Health Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for Training and Planning Dr. Mohammed Amin Al-Awadhi attended the meeting along with the Malyasian delegation, which arrived in Bahrain on a three-day visit. Professor Abdul Razak visited key health milestones in Bahrain, including the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC), where he was briefed about the Genetic Blood Diseases Centre, the radiology ward and other facilities.
During a visit to Yousuf Abdulrahman Engineer Health Centre, the delegation took stock of health and therapeutic services, including general and specialized clinics, dental ward and other departments. The delegation was also briefed about the National Health Information Program (I-SEHA), which offers the opportunity to book medical appointments electronically in the Health Centers.
