The university was featured in the New Straits Times on 21st February 2018. The article celebrated the CUCMS’ Faculty of Pharmacy who were named as the Overall Champion at the 11th MyPSA National Pharmacy Sports Carnival (NPSC) 2018. The team bagged 9 gold, 12 silvers, and 8 bronze medals to remain as champions for the 2nd year in a row.
