The Sudanese Society at the University of Cyberjaya collaborated with students from the University of Sarajevo for a podcast called Fahm Shabab, discussing the challenges young people face in today’s world. The podcast explored the struggles, pressures, and expectations young adults experience as they enter university and navigate this stage of life, creating a platform to share perspectives, raise awareness, and encourage understanding among youth from different backgrounds.
At the University of Cyberjaya, student societies provide opportunities for students to pursue shared interests, develop communication skills and participate actively in university life. Initiatives such as “Fahm Shabab” demonstrate how student-led activities can extend learning beyond the classroom through collaboration, discussion and engagement with real-world issues.
For international students, participation in these initiatives can offer meaningful ways to connect with peers, contribute to university activities and build relationships through shared interests and experiences.
The podcast collaboration also illustrates how student societies can serve as bridges between communities, enabling students to engage with peers from other institutions and broaden their perspectives through international exchange.
The University of Cyberjaya commends the Sudanese Society for contributing to this initiative and for helping create opportunities for dialogue, collaboration and cross-cultural understanding among young people.
