Malaysian Scholarships & Financial Aid
The University of Cyberjaya offers several financial aid options to help you pay for your studies. These include internal bursaries and scholarships. There are also a number of external organizations such as NGOs, foundations and government agencies that provide additional aid if required. Please see below for the common scholarship or financial aid that our students have applied for.
INTERNAL SCHOLARSHIPS

100% Scholarships
Enjoy a full scholarship for our Foundation programme leading to a degree in psychology, biomedical engineering, physiotherapy, occupational safety and health and more. For the latest information, please contact the Marketing Department.

50% Scholarships
We are now offering a partial scholarship of 50% for the Foundation in Science leading to a degree in MBBS or Pharmacy. Call our marketing department to secure your place.

15% Scholarships
We offer up to 15% tuition fee waiver for eligible students for Business Programmes. This offers only available for a limited time and seats, contact our recruitment team to know more about this scholarship.

Pharmacy Bursary Award
We are now offering a tuition fee waiver for up to 30% for high achieveing students pursuing the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons). Call our marketing department to secure your place.

University of Cyberjaya Bursary
Bursary awards are available for high-achieving students who are from low-income families. Bursary awards are provided on a limited-time basis each year, for selected programmes only. For the latest information, please contact the Marketing Department.

THE PALAN FOUNDATION FINANCIAL AID
Financial aid is provided by the Palan Foundation to aid promising students from low-income families pursue their dreams of obtaining a higher education. The award of this aid is at the discretion of the Foundation and will depend on the financial standing of the applicant’s family.

University of Cyberjaya MERIT ENTRY SCHOLARSHIPS
A range of scholarships are available for high-achieving students who apply to study at the University of Cyberjaya. These scholarships are based on merit and must be applied for at the point of registering to study at University of Cyberjaya. Scholarships are provided on a limited-time basis each year. University of Cyberjaya’s Golden Bursary
Up to 50% tuition fee waiver for senior citizens (age to 60 to 75 years old during the date of registration) and disabled citizens (with OKU card)
GOVERNMENT FUNDING

National Higher Education Loan Fund (PTPTN)
Students applying to study at the University of Cyberjaya are eligible for PTPTN funding. The quantum approved by PTPTN depends on the applicant’s parents’ monthly household income. This aid is open to Malaysians only.

MARA Education Loan
Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) plays an important role in the development of human capital which includes entrepreneurs who can generate wealth, creating a competent work force and developing excellent Bumiputera students. To achieve this target, MARA provides education loan facilities at various levels of studies to meet the demands of employers.

MALAYSIAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP
This is an initiative by the Malaysian Government to attract the best brains from around the world to pursue advanced studies in Malaysia. This scholarship aims to support the Government’s effort to attract, motivate and retain talented human capital from abroad. Talented international students with excellent academic records and outstanding co-curricular backgrounds are welcomed to apply for this scholarship.

MALAYSIAN TECHNICAL AND COOPERATION PROGRAMME (MTCP)
The MTCP Scholarship for Post-Graduate Studies provides opportunities for students to pursue advanced academic study in Malaysia. This scholarship is a Government-to-Government basis, without any bond imposed by Malaysia. Scholarships are intended for promising candidates who may be expected to make a significant contribution to their own countries upon their return.

Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera
Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera is an initiative under the Bumiputera Economic Transformation Plan, which was launched under the Economic Planning Unit with a focus on strengthening capacity building for the Bumiputera community. The Foundation aims to improve Bumiputera talents through educational support.

Affin Bank
It is a Shariah-compliant scheme designed specially for qualified individuals to obtain financial asisstance for their education plan. Based on the concept of Ijarah, the financing will cover their education programme for a truly seamless study experience.
EXTERNAL AGENCIES & NGO

Skola Fund Crowdsourcing
Skolafund is web platform for students, especially the ones in need, to crowdfund their scholarships for higher education. Skola Fund aims to make higher education affordable and accessible to all. Students apply directly with the Fund and then post their requirements online.

Indus Education Foundation
The Indus Foundation provides financial assistance in the form of fellowships, scholarships, loans, bursaries, medals and prizes to deserving Malaysian students, particularly from underserved Malaysian communities, for them to pursue higher education, at pre-university, undergraduate and post-graduate levels

OCBC Earn&Learn Education Loan
This unique education loan from OCBC Bank allows you to pledge your Fixed Deposit with the bank to double your education budget. This loan requires no legal fees and provides you with Fixed Deposit interest for a loan tenure of up to 10 years. You also have the option to service only the interest for first 3 years.
